HCD International Announces Plans for Strategic Expansion and Growth Initiatives
[WASHINGTON, DC October 24, 2023] – HCD International (HCDI), a leader in health equity, is thrilled to announce plans to release a 2024 strategic plan, which will prioritize rapid expansion and growth through December 2024.
More than three decades after opening its doors, the healthcare consulting firm continues its commitment to being a frontrunner in championing health equity and advocating for equal access to healthcare.
Amidst a transformative phase, HCD International is poised to amplify its presence in Washington DC, through a series of strategic executive adjustments that align with its vision for sustained growth. “Our decision to evolve our physical footprint is part of a larger strategy to optimize our resources and enhance our ability to serve our partners and members more effectively,” shares M. Pascaran, HCDI Chief Administrative Officer. She continues, “This move represents not just a change in location but a strategic leap forward in our prioritization of community engagement and operational excellence.” HCD International staff remain in numerous states, most notably, MD, FL, IL, and GA.
In July, 3.8 million¹ people lost Medicaid coverage. An estimated 15 million² people are expected to lose Medicaid coverage during the redetermination process this year. The HCDI relocation will significantly impact redetermination efforts and will help mediate the pervasive effects of social determinants of health. President and Founder Jean Drummond shares, “As an engagement organization committed to bridging healthcare disparities through a ‘policy to practice’ approach, our relocation to Washington D.C. is an exciting step forward.
