This important session will explore strategies to ensure equitable access to healthy food, focusing on addressing food justice and advancing health equity in underserved communities.
We’ll discuss innovative approaches to food security and how nutrition can be a powerful tool to improve health outcomes. Participants will leave with practical insights and actionable solutions to advocate for food justice initiatives in their communities.
The “Food as Medicine” webinar will feature expert speakers including Rachel Koay, Chief Equity & Impact Officer at Feeding Texas, Janelle St. John, Executive Director of Growing Home, Inc. , and Dion Dawson, Founder/Executive Director of Dion’s Chicago Dream.
We encourage an open, collaborative dialogue throughout the event.
